Turkish Consulate General in Alexandria

CG's Message

Dear Distinguished Members of the Turkish Community in Alexandria,
Dear Egyptian friends,

It is a distinct honor for me to assume my duties as the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Alexandria, as of September 1, 2014, in order to serve our citizens and Egyptians as well as other applicants living in Alexandria, Beheira, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Kafrel Sheikh, Monofia, Damietta and Matrouh governorates, the jurisdiction area of our consular representation.

We are at full disposable of our precious nationals on a 7/24 basis. In this context, please consider our Consulate General as your home and the first address to consult in every field. We would be more than happy if you visit our Consulate General at any time you wish.

With a view to offer consular as well as commercial, economic, cultural and educational services, our Consulate General was opened in 1925 at the coastal city of Alexandria which was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 BC and became a commercial and cultural hub on the Mediterranean region.

Taking into consideration our already existing historical roots and cultural and human ties with Egypt, responsibilities of our Consulate General are to strengthen the economic, commercial, cultural, educational and touristic dimensions of our relations as well as to advance the friendship and dialogue between our people through the facilities of our Electronic Visa Application System started in 2013.

On the other hand, I would like to assure that we would exert every effort to help and support our companies and business circles located in our jurisdiction area, which play a key role in further enhancing commercial relations and in representing our country.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to stress that the doors of our Consulate General would always be open for you and your families.

Finally, I extend my best wishes and regards on behalf of myself and our staff at the Consulate General.

Serdar Belentepe
Consul General
